A buddy of mine mentioned that leather is in high demand. I work in a related industry and thought that maybe I can help him get some of it.  I newer thought of making money out of trading cow hides but if there is a buyer for it, I will try to find get my hands on as many tons as possible.  I called a guy at a slaughterhouse. "Can you sell any?". He keeps on telling me that his either busy, or in the factory and will call me back. He never calls. One day, I call again and say "Did you have a nice weekend" (it was on Monday). He answer yes, and then I go on and tell him about my trip to the mountains. When I ask whether he is interested in selling me the cow leathers he says yes, but apparently he is still bound to an ongoing contract and once that one finishes he can buy from us. I ask when I should call and he says two weeks. I am curious what will be the discussion like in two weeks.
